Who Are You: I'm a man from New York City who possibly spends too much time with his head in what we know of as dumpsters, and you'd call skips over here in the UK. In those I find things to build some of my own pretty unusual instruments, which I call Hornicators, Sister Spinsters, and Stringalings, and people over here sometimes call 'What the hell is THAT?'
Why Should We Come and See You: Come and see me because people say wonderful things about having never seen or heard anything quite like what I do before, and usually say it with big smiles.
For Fans of / Sounds Like: Well I've seen all ages and styles of hairdo come to my shows, I don't particularly like labels and comparisons because I span a lot of styles and colors and have extremely varied influences. But if you must reference something, some reviewers cite certain comparisons which I am usually very flattered by; almost always with a sort of disclaimer or 'he's a little bit this and a little bit that but not entirely any of them': Nick Cave, Tom Waits, Viv Stanshall, Jim Carrey, Bowie, Lux Interior, Johnny Cash, the Residents, the Anti Folk Scene, One Man bands, etc....
