Who Are You: I'm Michael J. Sheehy, I was a founding member of the slut-rock band Dream City Film Club. Since the band fell to bits in hail of fists and forked tongues in 1999 I've made four 'solo' albums, each one a bigger commercial catastraphe than the last.
Why Should We Come and See You: Because as accustomed as I am to playing empty rooms I've never managed to get over the deep sinking sensation it causes in the pit of my stomach. Plus you'll be able to purchase a copy of the new album.
For Fans of / Sounds Like: For any one who appreciates ruminations on the darker side of life filtered through blues, folk, country, gospel and a hard earned sense of humour. I like all the greats Dylan, Waits, Presley, Simone etc, wether I sound like them is up for debate.
