Colin Hartley, a hard playing acoustic musician who puts his energy
into every performance.

Set lists include original material as
well as over 100 cover numbers from Hank Williams and Muddy Waters
from the 1930s through to the Beatles, Stones, Van Morrison, The
Pogues, Radiohead, The Killers, The Zutons, Ocean Colour Scene, the
Kinks, Simon and Garfunkle, some American folk songs and not a bad
amount of David Bowie...as well as much much more...Requests
welcome!
At each gig I'll play for over 2 hours and they're free entry so the
audiences can spend their money on other pursuits such as beer and
one of my CDs.

Its been said I sound like Joe
Cocker, John Belushi (the fat one in the Blues Brothers), Cat
Stevens, Roy Harper, a male version of Janis Joplin and Bessie
Smith, as well as Paul Weller, Peter Gabriel and Phil
Collins....personally i think i sound like me!
My last gig at Cafe Rene was an absolute storm so i'm really looking
forwards to the next. Gigs at Jamesons are slightly less well
attended but are getting busier each time.
Other musicians are welcome to play my interval and sometimes there
are 2 or 3 other players at my gigs tho it's never guaranteed and i
will quite happily play the whole night.
